Article Submission Guidelines
We welcome new articles, and encourage you to send them to us for consideration. More opinions and perspectives encourage an open-mind concept that we value highly.
We are always searching for new information to enrich this site. However, we will only publish what we feel is of benefit to this site and to its readers. Please know that this is in no way a reflection of the quality of your writing. It is an entirely subjective decision and is final.
Email your article submissions to webmaster@differentequals.com.
The following lists the guidelines to consider when submitting an article to be published here.
- Articles will be only accepted for review in Microsoft Word™ ".doc" or Plain text ".txt" files.
- Do not use any special text formatting when submitting a document for review. If accepted, it will be copied and pasted into this site's format.
- Include your articles and any graphics (subject to the guidelines below) as email attachments. Do NOT paste articles or graphics directly into the body of the email message.
- If an attachment is received that contains a virus, the attachment will be deleted, with no attempts made to clean or fix it. You will be notified that your attachment contains a virus. Your email address may be automatically blocked if we receive repeated infected files. This is an automatic feature that we have no control over.
- Submitted articles are not
automatically accepted. They will be reviewed by a panel
and will be included subject to their approval. The panel's decision is final.
- Articles must promote and
encourage the web site's vision and goals.
- No article will be accepted
that openly criticizes, flames or otherwise denigrates any
specific person or lifestyle choice.
- Articles remain the property of
the author. Any copyrights are the sole responsibility of the
author.
- Submitted articles imply that
permission for publication has been granted to this site. Your email request to us submitting your article will be considered your formal approval for publication.
- Grammatical and/or typing
errors will be corrected prior to publication; however, there is
no intention of editing article submissions. You may be asked to review, edit and re-submit an article if extensive editing (usually format as opposed to content) is required.
- Erotica will not be published.
There are a number of erotica sites available online that
welcome these types of submissions. There will be no exceptions to this as it can change the rating of a site.
- While we are not actively seeking inspirational-type poetry or prose, we may choose to publish them if they hold special meaning to the community at large (such as a ceremony transcript).
- Graphics are discouraged,
unless they are deemed absolutely absolutely necessary to illustrate some of the
article's content.
- Articles may only be submitted
by the original author. Any copyright infringement will warrant immediate removal of the article.
- If you use reference material, please include the source of these references (i.e. book title, author, year of publication etc.)
- Articles may be removed from the
site at any time, for any reason, without prior notification.
- There will be no outside links
permitted that point directly to any article published in this website. This is to
ensure that the reader is aware that this is a website that
contains adult content, and to manage bandwidth. Any such links will warrant
removal or relocation of the article.
- Links to other sites within submitted articles will not be accepted . The quality and integrity of Different Equals are critical to us, and we have no control over any site other than our own.
- To make reading easier, normal English
grammar rules will apply. The upper/lower lower case
typing style (i.e. A/all) will not be used.
- Refrain from using he/she references in order to make articles gender-neutral. If you feel there is a need to mention gender-neutrality, please include a "disclaimer" at the beginning or end of your article that tells the reader to understand that you are writing for any gender.
- If you wish, you may include a short biography. If you do, we will include it in our Contributors' list.
We look forward to receiving your articles, and welcoming you as part of our group of contributors.
