I saw this exchange in an internet chat room many years ago. I remember laughing to the point that my sides were hurting. At the time I decided to save it. I'm glad I did.
I have read book after book about our lifestyle. I hunt for meaningful articles about D/s and BDSM. I attend seminars whenever I can to further my knowledge. I participate in community events to be with other lifestylers. I take my lifestyle very seriously.
I adore discussions on protocols and rituals, on power exchange, and learning about what makes us all tick. Sometimes I have complicated things for myself to the point that someone would need a degree in rocket science or brain surgery to understand the intricacies of my passion for BDSM.
Then someone like ghost-M comes along and lets rip. How much simpler can things be stated? He gets his jollies and then - kindhearted soul that he is - lets bamby-F get hers. bamby-F may be brand new, but this is pretty simple stuff - I'm sure she can think of a few names to call him when it's her turn. Two happy - albeit clueless - campers.
I've yet to come across a simpler definition of what it is that we do (WIITWD). I'll do my thing and then you'll do your thing and we'll both be happy. How much easier can this get?
